JOHN MOLINA | EXECUTIVE CHEF

Originally from Queensland, John’s culinary path began with an apprenticeship on Hamilton Island, followed by stints around Brisbane’s fine dining scene. He made the move to Tasmania over eight years ago, taking on the role as Executive chef at Ghost Rock in 2022. His passion for local produce and creativity in the kitchen, is reflected through the seasonal menus.

Due to the spacing in our Eatery, the maximum lunch 'online booking' size is 8pp [including children]. Seating for large groups is very limited. Also note, for groups over 8 we offer 'Group Set Menus', please email mail@ghostrock.com.au for more information.

Not all of our outdoor areas are undercover. if you choose to reserve an outdoor table, we may not be able to move you inside if inclement weather persists during service. The Tasmanian UV can be extreme so it's a good idea to have a hat handy if you do choose to sit outside!

Service dogs are welcome at all times. If you would like to bring a non-service dog with you to soak in the views, please book an outside table. We ask that your four-legged friend be well mannered, always stay leashed and be supervised by the owner at all times. Please leave a note when booking online so we may seat you accordingly.
