The 2007 Catherine Sparkling has already received a Gold Medal at the Aust Small Vignerons Wine Show 2011, as well as Silver awards at the 2011 Tasmanian Wine Show and Australian Small Winemakers Show.
Catherine is a fine example of a premium Tasmanian sparkling wine. A blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, this sparkling has rich fruit characters which are complemented with yeasty complexity. Displaying apple and yeast aromatics and a rich creamy palate. A complex well balanced wine with fine acidity on the lingering finish. Ideal for all occasions with it's lively character and soft flavours.

Pale straw with a touch of green in colour, this wine displays asparagus, gooseberry and fresh cut grass aromas. The palate exhibits primary herbaceous notes with hints of passionfruit, grapefruit and gooseberry, balanced nicely with a soft acid structure and a clean fresh finish (our signature wine).

Light straw in colour, this aromatic wine reveals luscious pear and floral aromas. Subtle pear flavours fuse with stone fruit characters and restrained acidity.

A soft salmon pink colour this wine has lifted aromas of raspberry, strawberry and quince, moving delicately to a palate of spice and soft berry flavours. The finish lingers with a perfect dry balance.

Cherry red in colour this wine displays youthful complexity on both the nose and palate. With savoury strawberry and wild berry aromas and a light to medium palate of subtle spiced fruit characters. Nicely textured and well handled tannins.The fruit for this wine was sourced from both our Clairdown and Oulton vineyard blocks (hence the name) and introduces two new varietal clones.

Best food accompaniment for Pinot Noir is duck, but for something a little different, try quail, lamb or a delicate venison dish. Richer foods can accompany this Pinot as it continues to age.
